Myofascial release in the abdominal area releases restrictions in the fascia surrounding the intestines and uterus which are often the reason for these conditions. Scar tissue in this area, from C-section, hysterectomy, appendectomy, laparoscopy or other abdominal surgery can develop adhesions which attach to various structures within the pelvis and cause pain and elimination problems.
